London, Montréal
Fellowship
9.23 - 6.24
Lindsay Buchman, Wylie Kasai, Sarah Woodward and maya rae oppenheimer met just under a year ago in September 2023. Collectively, they are the 2024 DesignInquiry fellows, brought together by their mutual interest in relationships to place, story-telling, and language (material, sensorial, conceptual). The DesignInquiry Fellowship is a year-long program that provides support for a small cohort of emerging and established thinkers and makers who seek a platform to sustain extended peer-to-peer conversation and explore open-ended collaboration.
Across four days in Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal, they will offer open studio sessions with visitors. Expect conversations and invited participatory gestures of making with clay, sound, paper pulp and conversation. Visitors are welcome to stop by the gallery space to visit a finissage of “The Clock Reads, the Sun Hangs” on Friday 28th June, 12 noon - 1pm that incorporates all the moments gathered during the open studio sessions across the week.
